Version 2

This one is a piece that I made after an illustration of my friend Scott Benefiel. There was something about the attitude of the character and the earthy color that inspired me so I decided to give it a spin. I think the pose is not strong enough, or I could not find the one I had in my head. But, hell, here it is. At least I like the color.

An old personal piece I did for a collective blog (I can't remember if I ended up posting it). Trying to come up with more interesting characters, mind you.

A few years back I tried my hand on a classic comic book character named Spawn. With a twist, this time. Imagining the superhero getting old; really old...

An aviation themed illustration. I put both sketch and finished piece on the same image so I can see where I was able to improve and where I failed to do it.

Back with an oldie. This time is a homage to Corto Maltese character. And a study I did for (I recently put some work into this one trying to make it more painterly, the old one being a sort of colored drawing).
